Her great-grandfather Antonio Carpen\u00e8 the 1st started studying the Prosecco grape to make a sparkling wine around 1850s. Then her father Antonio Carpen\u00e8 II \u201cinvented\u201d in the 50\u2019s of last century the modern Italian method for the production of Prosecco sparklers with secondary tank fermentation.<br \/>\nToday Prosecco takes on different designations based on its territorial origin, a protocol designed to safeguard its authenticity. Clara C\u2019 has created a collection for each designation: Fiori di Valdobbiadene for the Prosecco D.O.C.G. labels, produced exclusively in the 15 municipalities nested on the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, and Fiori di Prosecco for the D.O.C. labels, referred to the production territory that stretches from Veneto to Friuli Venezia Giulia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prosecco: the Italian sparkler that conquered the world.
